As 2019 comes to a close we want to help you make the best of your dental plan. If your dental insurance plan is on a calendar year, these three reasons will show you why you should make a dental appointment now.

1. Yearly Maximum Benefit?

The yearly maximum is the most money that the dental insurance plan will pay for your dental work within one full year. If you haven’t used all of your benefits, it will not roll over to next year. If you have unused benefits, these will not roll over, so you should utilize all of the benefits while they are still active.

2. New Year = New Deductible?

The deductible is the amount of money that you must pay to your dentist out of pocket before your insurance company will pay for any services. If you’ve already paid your deductible for this year, any additional dental work done before the end of the year won’t require a new deductible payment.

3. Take Care of Small Problems Before They Get Bigger❕

By delaying dental treatment, you are risking more extensive and expensive treatment down the road. Very often, when dental issues are ignored and left to develop, they end up becoming much worse than whatever the original issue was. Use your dental benefits to stay ahead of dental problems and have a healthy and happy smile for the holidays.

As many patients rush to use up their benefits before the end of the year, appointment slots will fill up quickly. If you wait too long, you may not be able to get the appointment time you want.

We have great news! Beautiful Smiles Denture Clinic is open for regular service. Our denturists and staff are looking forward to welcoming you back to our new normal. If your appointment was cancelled due to our closure, you will be hearing from us soon to rebook. We have opened up days and extended our hours to help alleviate any delays. Your safety is our top priority. We are taking extra measures to protect you and our staff during these times, so we have new safety measures in place.

  • You will be asked a few routine questions about travel and your health. If you have travelled or are not feeling well, please stay home. We will rebook your appointment for a later date.
  • The staff will send you all the necessary forms via email. These can be filled out immediately, but please try to fill it out two days prior to your exam. This will avoid paperwork delays in the office.
  • When you arrive at the office for your appointment, please call us, and we will let you know when we are ready for your appointment. This will allow us to avoid too many people in the office.
  • You will be asked to sanitize your hands on arrival, and once in the chair room, we ask you to sanitize your hands, scrub your dentures and use mouthwash for 30 seconds. 
  • We are limiting our conversational pleasantries to keep everyone safe. Your health and safety is our top priority.
  • Staff will be wearing masks, face shields/safety glasses and gowns during all procedures.
  • All equipment, chairs and surfaces are cleaned and sanitized after each patient. All instruments and tools are sterilized after each patient.
  • If you are in need of an adjustment or denture service please call us, and we will schedule you an appointment.
  • Our front desks are equipped with Plexiglas shields, hand sanitizer, gloves, and masks.
